About the Role
We are looking for ambitious movie-obsessed students to join our IMAX Internship Program this Summer! This 10-week program will focus on hands-on learning, skill development, and real-world work experience in a collaborative and innovative environment. This program will take place June-August in our Playa Vista (LA) office!
Join our cross-functional team and help create exciting features for imax.com. You’ll help movie fans worldwide connect with the content they love by shaping amazing user experiences. From early design flows to final details, in this role you’ll have a chance to see your ideas come to life. If you’re passionate about UX Design and movies, apply today!
What You’ll Do:

Create designs in Figma for imax.com, including wireframes to UX flows to detailed designs

Optimize existing designs to improve the imax.com user experience

Partner with technology and data teams to move your designs into the development roadmap

Ideate fun imax.com ideas to support our film marketing campaigns

Concept a new imax.com feature as a milestone project
What You’ll Need:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or program related to UX design and digital marketing

Ability to wireframe and prototype visual design concepts (low-fidelity)

Ability to create responsive designs and deliver detailed designs in Figma
-
Experience in visual and interaction design principles
Nice to Have:

User research / validation experience

Previous design project examples (school or work)
