Overview
The Legal Intern will work under the guidance of the Legal Counsel, gaining hands-on experience in corporate, business, and contracts-related legal matters. The intern will assist in reviewing contracts, drafting documents, and monitoring compliance functions. This position is ideal for a law student looking to gain practical, in-house corporate legal experience.
Semester
- Ability to begin work this summer and possibly into the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Professional QualificationsEducation
Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school (1L, 2L, or 3L).
Experience
- Strong business writing and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze legal issues and communicate findings clearly.
- Interest in Corporate, Contracts, Intellectual Property, or Business Law.
- Familiarity with word and PDF processing programs, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Sign.
General
- Strong judgment, responsibility with sensitive or confidential information.
- Great communicator, ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-attorneys.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple competing tasks and deadlines.
- Responsive, able to recognize time-sensitive projects and manage priorities.
- Analytical thinker, able to analyze legal issues critically and provide strategic insight.
