Our Interns support members of a diverse team of professionals developing solutions for our client’s most complex automation challenges. You will work in a team atmosphere and must have a desire to learn new technologies and techniques.  We are seeking an Inside Sales Intern to join our sales team. This role involves assisting in lead generation, prospect outreach, and supporting the sales cycle to help drive revenue growth.

This position will be located in our Akron, OH office for the winter semester (starting in January-Feb 2025). 

20-40 hours per week

This is an excellent opportunity to:

  • Identify and qualify leads through research and outbound communication.
  • Engage potential customers via phone, email, and social media to introduce our products and services.
  • Assist the sales team with preparing presentations, proposals, and follow-up communication.
  • Track and update sales activities, following up with potential clients as directed.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs to assist with sales strategies.
  • Help prepare for and occasionally participate in client meetings, providing notes and follow-ups as needed. 

You:

  • Are pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Love manufacturing technology.
  • Have the ability to build rapport quickly with prospects.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willing to collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet goals.
