About the Role
Are you ready to join a global innovator in entertainment technology? IMAX is seeking a driven and tech-savvy intern to support our Enterprise Transformation team.
The Enterprise Transformation team drives innovation by partnering with stakeholders to deploy new technologies, such as AI-driven solutions, streamline processes, and evaluate business strategies. This collaborative team partners with departments across the organization to ensure alignment, resource optimization, and impactful transformation efforts.
This part-time, four-month internship is based in our New York office and offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects at the intersection of technology and business innovation.
In this role, you’ll help identify, test, and evaluate cutting-edge AI tools that can transform how we operate. You’ll collaborate with talented professionals across teams and gain hands-on experience in a real-world business environment, helping shape IMAX’s future through innovation.
What You’ll Do
· Research and identify state-of-the-art AI tools aligned with enterprise transformation objectives.
· Work closely with the Enterprise Transformation team to co-develop frameworks and criteria for evaluating AI tools effectively.
· Conduct thorough hands-on testing and analysis of AI tools, documenting findings in actionable, business-focused reports.
· Synthesize and present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to support decision-making.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to understand organizational needs and align tool evaluations with strategic goals.
· Develop and maintain reports and/or dashboards to track progress and evaluation metrics.
What You’ll Need
· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Market Research, or a related field.
· Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
· Familiarity with AI technologies, including an understanding of their potential applications in enterprise settings.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
· A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with a team.
Nice to Have
· Previous experience or coursework related to AI evaluation, enterprise technology, or digital transformation.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
· A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and staying on top of emerging technology trends.
· An interest in the entertainment industry and a curiosity about IMAX’s role in advancing it through technology.
