We are looking for a passionate, detail oriented current college student to join our Credit team in Paramus, New Jersey as a Credit Intern. Only actively enrolled college students will be considered. An intern would work on a part time basis, up to 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday. This is a PAID internship with an opportunity to work full time over the summer (Jun-Aug).
Assist the Reporting Analyst with:
- Preforming data analytics/data mining
- Compile data, prepare and distribute reports to Reporting Analyst
- Assist with reconciling accounts and chargebacks
Assist the Credit Analyst with preparing Co-op Credit Memo’s:
- Obtain back up - proof of performance, printers invoice & copy of ad
- Process Adjustment form in SAP
- Obtain Credit Management approval
- Submit Adjustment for processing to Cash Application
Assist the Credit Analyst with preparing Markdown Credits:
- Substantiate markdown credit
- Obtain brand approval from the Controller
- Obtain Credit Management approval
- Submit Adjustment for processing to Cash Application area
Assist the Credit Analyst with:
- Entering invoice data into payment portal
- Sending copy of invoices and statements to customers
- Validating co-op data
Box Co-op correspondence for storage
- Box files
- Prepare storage labels
- Work with mailroom to ship files to warehouse
Job Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for any Accounting related majors.
Only current college students will be considered.
- Must be a current, actively enrolled college student
- A can-do attitude and is willing to learn new things
- Very organized with strong follow through skills
- Must have excellent analytical skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and pivot when necessary
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Advanced Excel skills a must
