The Agency Operations Intern plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Agency Operations Department. This position will work closely with the agency operations team to assist with various tasks that involve contract reviews, marketing data collection, and trend analysis. This internship will provide valuable insights into the workings of the insurance industry while developing your skills in business operations, data analysis, and market research.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with reviewing and analyzing contracts and agreements related to agency partnerships. Ensure that all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and organize demographic marketing data from our agency partners.. This includes but is not limited to agency size, carrier ranking, mix of business and other standards for tracking purpose.
- Analyze collected data to identify emerging trends and patterns to assist business teams with managing agency relationships. Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational strategies and enhance agency performance.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports on contract status and marketing data for senior management review.
- Provide general administrative support to the Agency Operations team, including maintaining filing systems, preparing presentations, and scheduling meetings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analytics, underwriting, and business development, to ensure alignment and enhance agency operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be currently enrolled.
- Preference may be given to those pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Must have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
