Job Description
The CIMA+ offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects that you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. We are actively looking for people who want to develop their skillsets, take on new challenges, and advance their careers within the organization.
Grow your career by becoming part of a dynamic team as a Junior to Intermediate Engineer within our Infrastructure sector. You will work on diverse projects related in the municipal, water and wastewater markets in the Saskatchewan region and across Canada within an excellent mentorship network.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, options to work from home and in our Regina office.
Primary responsibilities
- Assistant project management duties with the opportunity to grow into a project manager role
- Complete conceptual, preliminary and detailed design tasks for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects
- Complete technical calculations and hydraulic modelling on various platforms
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, memoranda and permit approval applications
- Participate in periodic site inspections
- Perform contract administration tasks
- Liaise directly with clients, government, and regulatory authorities to address specific project needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Active professional member or eligible for such a membership with APEGS
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure fields. More than 2 years of demonstrated relevant experience will be considered an asset.
- Past experience working as a site inspector during construction for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects will be considered and asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
