A bit about the role…

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with expertise in building intuitive User Experiences with React and Typescript  to develop user-facing features for our AI-driven SaaS platform. You will be responsible for building efficient, scalable, and reusable UI components while ensuring seamless integration with our back-end AI systems. The ideal candidate has experience with agile methodologies, a solid understanding of REST APIs, and familiarity with tools like Jira and GitHub. Bonus points if you have knowledge of AI/ML concepts, Python, AWS, or Rust. Join us to work on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment!

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have strong proficiency in React (3+ years of professional experience)

• You have experience with TypeScript.

• You are proficient in HTML and CSS, with an understanding of responsive design principles.

• You are dedicated to writing efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.

• You have strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.

• You have built many cool web apps that you can't wait to show off!

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience with the technologies we use, including TypeScript and React.

• Understanding of APIs and REST APIs.

• SaaS experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Any studies related to AI or ML are a plus.

• Basic theoretical knowledge of AI/ML is a bonus.

• Experience with Python is a plus.

• Jira expertise and familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Kanban.

• One domain of expertise in at least one of the following: ML, AWS (S3, CloudFront, API Gateway), embedded development with Rust.

• Experience with Git and GitHub.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Every day is different at a scale-up, but the core of your time will be spent:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js and TypeScript.

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Developing front-end interfaces that integrate with our AI-powered back-end product.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire.

• Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included) or eligible to work in Canada.

• Be willing to comply with Solink’s security policies and standards.
