We are looking for an Interim Systems Support Engineer for a 7-month temporary role in our Amsterdam office. In this important position, you'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, provide timely support to colleagues with their IT needs, and ensure our systems, networks, and applications run smoothly. Key Responsibilities

Technical Support:

Be the hero who swiftly resolves user inquiries and issues, whether it's via ticketing system, chats, email, or face-to-face.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems

Provide support for operating systems, productivity software, and specialized applications.

Keep systems working well by doing regular maintenance and updates.

Protect Travix security by promoting security awareness.

User Assistance:

Meeting and Collaboration Tools:

Ensure meeting kits, including audio-visual equipment, are always ready and functioning seamlessly.

Be the expert on Zoom and other video conferencing tools, providing support and guidance to ensure smooth virtual meetings.

User assistance:

Empower users with knowledge and training on the latest tech and systems.

Keep a detailed log of user issues and solutions in the helpdesk system.

Network Support:

Be the backbone of network management, supporting LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Tackle network connectivity issues and collaborate with senior IT wizards on complex problems.

Collaboration:

Partner with fellow IT experts to drive projects and upgrades.

Forge strong alliances with vendors and service providers to conquer technical challenges.

Documentation:

Maintain a meticulous inventory of hardware and software.

Create and update technical documentation and user guides

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
  • Ability to communicate with different groups of people; Focus on Customer Satisfaction
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and English communication skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team.
  • Familiar with Google Workplace (GSuite), Active Directory, Remote Desk Service and how SAML SSO works.
