Integrations Specialist and API developer

For our Leidschendam office we are looking for an Azure Integrations Specialist and API developer who will be end to end responsible for the design build and delivery of integrations between applications that support Fugro’s business processes. You ensure the automation of information flow in the business processes by integrating our enterprise applications using the Azure Integration Services. Also, you ensure that support on these information flows can take place effectively and efficiently. You are responsible for monitoring the performance of the integration and advice IT and Business management on potential improvements and measures related to cost control. 

Your role 

• You analyse requirements from the business about automation of information flow across different enterprise platforms and design integration solutions for these requirements; 
• You further improve and maintain the integration solutions using Azure Integration Services; 
• You produce functional documentation, configuration manuals and support manuals and you are aware of operational expenditures (OPEX) of Azure components used during the build and advices on cost efficient use of these components; 
• You are also aware of security implications of the integrations and advices IT management on taking security measures; 
• You provide 3rd line support for integration solutions. You troubleshoot incidents, perform core issue analysis and provide short term and long term solutions to incidents (to make sure that the same incident will not happen again); 
• You review integration capabilities during software product selection process; 
• You design solutions for identity and security in cooperation with our infrastructure and security teams and you support with unit testing and with UAT testing by making sure that the test environments are available and that you can monitor the processes during the tests. 

Your track record 

• You have experience in development using Azure Integration Services (components: (1) Azure Service Bus queues, topics and subscriptions, (2) Storage Account tables, (3) Azure Functions, (4) Logic Apps, (5) Key Vaults, (6) Event Grid topics and subscription, (7) APIs, (8) App Services, (9) Good C# development skills (for writing APIs and Azure Functions); 
• You have a wide knowledge of available tools, popular standards and work techniques and experience in Azure DevOps in creating of build and release pipelines (that also use PowerShell and Azure CLI); 
• You have a good understanding of Web Services, OData v4 Web Services, JSON and XML message formats and knowledge on how to build near real-time integrations; 
• Having experience with ERP is a big plus; 
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
