Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual (m/f/d) who is interested in an engineering position in the field of integration and characterization of acoustic transducers in complex MEMS systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the field of consumer electronics and IoT, and develop new applications for intelligent MEMS sensors and actuators.
You will be involved in the following activities:
- You are responsible for the integration of an Audio MEMS, its sub-components, and defining their test concept and its connection to sensor system modelling
- Technical conception, coordination, and execution of novel electrical and acoustic micro-speaker characterization
- Providing professional consultation and making decisions regarding the selection of suitable measurement methods and test setups
- Strengthening the micro-speaker team with experience in laboratory setup, as well as characterization and qualification for acoustic components
- Understanding the use cases and sub-components of a microspeaker, including system, micromechanics, ASIC, packaging, and embedded software
- Documenting the results and presenting them in project reviews internally and to our customers
- Deriving insightful data-driven conclusions by modeling, characterizing, and validating our sensors
Qualifications
- Personality: High level of interdisciplinary comprehension, customer orientation, creative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Work approach: You work independently and with a goal-oriented mindset; You are analytic, structured and organized
- Experience and expertise: Deep knowledge of system testing, MEMS components and measurement systems; Several years work experience in the field of audio or sensor characterization, system integration or measurement systems
- Languages: Fluent English (C1) and advanced German (B2) language skills
- Education: You hold an M.Sc./Dipl. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Microsystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field; PhD graduates with relevant experience are welcomed to apply as well
