Overview
The Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) support instructional systems design throughout the Product Lifecycle Process, which incorporates the ADDIE methodology across all divisions of ST.
This is a hybrid position with occasional visits to the DC area.
Minimum Requirements
- Current Personnel (Security) Clearance/ Eligibility (PCL) at the Top Secret level with SCI security clearance/eligibility
- A Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education from an accredited university and at least three (3) years of experience designing and developing instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led courses, self-paced eLearning courses, and performance support tools OR
- In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least eight (8) years of experience designing and developing instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led courses, self-paced eLearning courses, and performance support tools
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience applying the ADDIE methodology and following a system process for assessment and development of formal training solutions, including, but not limited do, designing courses or curriculums and creating education/training material, such as teaching manuals, student guides, job aids, learning activities, skills assessments, and quizzing/testing mechanisms
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in close collaboration with customers to turn training requirements needs and expectations into comprehensive and well-articulated distance-delivered courses
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing a wide range of courseware, documents, and publications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading instructional development projects
Preferred Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience applying the ADDIE methodology in Instructional Systems Design and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated courses
- Five (5) or more years of experience working in close collaboration with customers to turn training requirements needs and expectations into comprehensive and well-articulated distance-delivered courses
- Five (5) or more years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing a wide range of courseware, documents, and publications
