About the Role: 

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating a range of training materials from handouts to multi-module eLearning courses for internal and external audiences, playing a key role in creating meaningful learning experiences that have an impact on the company, our providers, and the patients we serve. The Instructional Designer is someone who relies heavily on multi-media creation and enjoys partnering with team members and stakeholders to devise effective training solutions and values creativity and continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities

  • Use multi-media and eLearning development skills to create new and update existing content into eLearning courses and/or videos. 
  • Create a wide range of training materials, including job aides, interactive scenarios, and simulations.
  • Support organizational media development needs by creating handouts for patients and providers, editing and curating videos, and creating company intranet pages.
  • Design assessments and surveys to evaluate training materials and analyze training data to inform updates. 
  • Collaborate with Clinical Training team members and personnel from across the organization to identify training gaps. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal team members throughout the instructional design and peer review processes to improve training development.
  • Active, on-camera meeting participation and responsiveness to online communication via email and messenger.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to Clinical Programs leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in instructional design developing eLearning courses.
  • Prior experience with Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, Vyond, Canva, and/or other eLearning authoring/media creation tools.
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing.
  • Understanding of Learning Management System (LMS) operations.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong time managment and project management skills.
  • Excels in both independent work and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Education, or similar. 
  • Experience with xAPI.
  • Experience with Litmos LMS.
  • Experience Adobe Creative Suite software, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience with AI-powered content creation tools.
  • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment.
  • Passion for expanding access to mental health treatment 

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
