About the role:

They work with a global team of technical content production specialists, product managers, developers, user experience designers, technical writers, and operations personnel to develop impactful on-demand training content that enhances the understanding, experience, and usage of Nintex products.

Instructional Designers at Nintex take the initiative to own their projects and can quickly adapt rapidly to change. They take a contemporary approach to on-demand training content development-addressing the user as a person and helping them accomplish their goals (as opposed to simply documenting every button and menu option in the UI).

They have a natural curiosity, willingness, and ability to learn the Nintex Product Platform and are well-versed in the craft of on-demand training content production. They can manage their projects to completion and communicate with stakeholders regarding status updates. They strive to develop explicit and valuable on-demand training content and proactively work toward developing effective stakeholder relationships and improving team processes, practices, and style guides.

Your contribution will be:

  • Analyze, design, and develop effective and engaging on-demand training material that meets audience needs.
  • Develop training content using sound writing, communication, and technical communication principles and strategies.
  • Act as your own subject matter expert by quickly and effectively learning the Nintex Product Platform.
  • Display a customer-centric attitude and enjoy helping customers learn, adopt our products, and grow their skills.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to enhance developed content.
  • Work with stakeholders and SMEs to understand, define, capture, and validate their content requirements and propose appropriate content strategies that successfully address the needs of the target audience and involve suitable delivery methods.

To be successful, we think you need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of working experience in technical instructional design
  • Hands-on experience in designing, building and configuring RPA workflows
  • Experience with Miro, LMS, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
