Responsibilities

Pursue transactional business opportunities in the municipal bond market with your existing tier-1-2 institutional client relationships.

Cultivate/Develop additional tier-1 client relationships to support municipal sales & trading and public finance businesses.

Distribute new issue transactions to tier 1-2 buyers in both the high grade and high yield sectors.

Work closely and collaboratively with municipal trading, underwriting and public finance professionals

Manage junior staff/teams to effectively cover assigned clients

Collaborate with the credit and risk teams to determine the best use of inventory/capital and other resource deployment.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field/experience required.

Minimum five years of municipal sales, trading or other relevant experience and two years’ experience at the Executive Director or Vice President level required.

Demonstrate municipal fixed income sales production over a multi-year period, differentiated by primary and secondary (risk/riskless) activity.

Experience distributing new issues both high grade and more complicated, lower-rated credits including non-rated transactions.

Proven production with tier-1 institutional municipal clients including both high grade and high yield buyers. Client references desired.

Knowledge of tier-1 institutional municipal account universe beyond existing relationships desired. Experience with, and knowledge of high yield sector a plus.

Solid understanding of the broader debt capital markets.

Ability to assist with distribution efforts for non-municipal products elsewhere on the platform as needed (e.g. credit).

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees and clients.

Proficiency in Bloomberg and MS Office products (Teams/Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) desired. Familiarity with Investor Tools/Perform is a plus.

FINRA Series 7/63/SIE licenses required
Must be willing to work in the office five days a week (not a remote position).
