In this role, the Analyst will be involved in supporting fundraising efforts and relationships with limited partners in Asia, with particular emphasis on supporting our limited partners in Japan. The Analyst will interface with members of the firm’s global ICS group across all Blackstone investment funds, legal/compliance, finance, and other groups within the firm. The Analyst will support multiple projects at any given time such as assisting with investor due diligence requests, conducting market research, drafting updates to limited partners, including investment summaries, as well as other marketing materials, and assisting with the fund closing process. This role will also be exposed to legal reviews associated with fund raising.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn about alternative investments, would like to be actively involved with senior members of the ICS team and is interested in supporting fund raising activities day-to-day basis. The Analyst will also develop familiarity with legal, product, and market issues associated with fund raising and fund documents.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least 2-5 years of finance experience, ideally asset management (client services/ management role), investment banking or relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
  • Superior communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively in English and Japanese.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • They will be team-oriented and collaborative and must possess strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a positive culture.
  • Strong work ethic to persevere; genuine passion for excellence; results-oriented.
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  •  Undergraduate degree
