Job Title: Insights and Analytics Manager
Location: Manila, Philippines
About the role:
The position is responsible for leading the data analysis and insights generation process within an organization, and it plays a critical role in leveraging data to drive organizational success.
How you will contribute:
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies. This involves establishing processes for gathering data from various sources. The manager ensures data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across the organization.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Using statistical tools and software, the manager conducts complex data analysis. This includes predictive modelling, trend analysis, and data mining to uncover actionable insights. Utilize modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business presentations & dashboards.
- Stakeholder Communication: This involves crafting clear, impactful reports and presentations. The manager communicates insights effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Strategy Development: Collaborating with management to develop strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Technology and Tools Utilization: Utilizing various analytics tools and techniques to gather and process data. Staying updated with the latest analytics tools, the manager selects and implements the most effective technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with different departments to understand their data needs, help them use insights to address challenges in order to achieve objectives, and ensure data insights align with business goals.
- Market Research: Designing and implementing competitive research frameworks that are tailored to the unique needs of the business unit. Develop key business questions and independently lead market research and data analytic initiatives to support brand strategy. This includes identifying market research needs, selecting vendors, designing and executing studies, and interpreting research findings.
- Innovation: Identifying new opportunities for using data analytics for business improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of business strategies.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensuring data analysis processes comply with legal and organizational data governance standards. The manager promotes data confidentiality and security. Champion a culture of integrity, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and legal guardrails throughout all stages of market research and data analytics activities.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Health Sciences or related discipline / Business Administration
- 5-7 years of experience in performing analytics and data visualizations involving business data, and communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Preferably has pharma market research experience
- Interest in consumer behavior and data analytics to bring the voice of the customer to inform product messaging, and to understand and track consumer attitudes and behavior
- High level of intellectual curiosity and learning agility to quickly understand new business problems and concepts
- Ability to problem-solve and implement solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.
