Brown & Brown is Seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Greensboro, NC.
The Colonial Group is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. Primary function is to handle outbound/inbound phone calls to Quote/Bind new business policies in multiple states. Goal is to review program’s features/benefits for a full understanding of coverages/exclusions.
How You Will Contribute
- Primarily Outbound phone calls direct to customers for soft leads generated from a National quoting website
- Consultative Selling by educating customers on the program features, coverage forms, state required affidavits, underwriting & claims process
- Complete understanding of Coverage & Endorsement Forms
- Meet/Exceed Monthly Metrics: New Business Premium & Bind Ratio goals
- Handle inbound phone calls inquiries for quotes/questions
- Possibility of travel 1-2 times/year to scheduled events.
- Other duties as assigned
Licenses and Certifications:
- Insurance Producer License required.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- High School Diploma
- Surplus Lines License preferred or willingness to obtain (company will sponsor)
- Previous experience in the Insurance Industry. (preferred)
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business or Financial related discipline (preferred)
