As an Inside Sales Specialist (also referred to as an Account Sales Specialist) on our Veterinary Software team, you will be responsible for selling software and services to customers and prospects over the phone within an assigned territory. You will identify and generate demand among customers, and partner with your field representative to collaborate on territory growth, unit placement and ensure customer satisfaction.
What you will do as an Inside Sales Specialist:

You will manage a sales pipeline and make phone calls to prospects and existing customers to close new accounts for SaaS solutions; client communication software and credit card processing.

You will prioritize proactive phone calls to software system accounts.

You will provide product demonstrations via webinar for prospective customers.
What you need to succeed:
-
3+ years of sales/inside sales experience in software, software as a service or the veterinary industry preferred

Ability to negotiate and close sales
-
Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly

Capability to absorb and articulate technical information

Highly motivated and goal oriented

Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook)
Travel/Shift Information:

Monday-Friday shifts- vary between 8am-6pm EST

Some travel to tradeshows throughout year

Maine-based local candidates will be required to be on site 2 days a week (8 days a month) at our headquarters in Westbrook, ME. Candidates located outside of Maine will work in a virtual setting.
