Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative will be the primary commercial contact for a specified customer base and prospect list. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will be responsible and accountable for the growth and management of business with customers within their portfolio, maintaining business, and targeted growth within existing accounts.
Responsibilities

Manage customer base through Sales and Commercial best practices.

Budget responsibility (GM & SV) for Plastic Solutions and Fibre Bonding for small and medium transactional customers.

Support Home Textiles Account Manager with forecast and opportunity pipeline management

Support the sales team with inside sales activities: pricing records, sampling, etc.

Work with assigned Account Managers to understand customer base and market.

Support the Sales Team in administrative tasks, to enable them to have more customer visits.

Identify new business and product opportunities in support of Synthomer growth goals.

This is an inside sales role, performed through phone sales and Microsoft Teams.

Assist sales manager in developing effective systems for managing low volume, high transaction customers.

Travel to selected customers and/or trade shows on an as needed basis in agreement with the Regional Sales Manager Americas.

Main Accountabilities
-
Manage small non-strategic US Consumer Materials customers (mostly transactional relationship)

Work with assigned Account Manager:
-
to provide administrative support (pricing, entry call reports, opportunity entry & update, contacts, relevant communication, etc.) into CRM
-
to develop an understanding of customer & application portfolio
-
to develop an understanding of market dynamics (competition, needs, value drivers, gaps and trends)
-
to generate and update accurate bottom-up forecasts
-
Research prospects, network, identify key players, understand value drivers and generate interest
-
Map and profile key players in customers organization and build strong relationships with them

Sales administrative tasks:
-
Manage Pricing updates for customers into C4C
-
Sample entry and follow up in CRM

Reply to documentation requests
-
Update the Churn Statistics in cooperation with Sales Manager (update losses and reasoning / Category of losses)

Coordinate information between Customer Service and Sales
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical discipline, preferably one of the sciences.

A minimum of 3 years sales experience or sales support; or related customer facing roles (customer service). Technical competence / acumen preferred.

Demonstrated successful sales experience as inside sales or in customer service (with strong sales support focus) in an industrial environment, preferably in Chemicals.

Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales metrics and perform data entry in CRM systems and other company tools.

Ability to interact and work effectively with internal and external customers interfacing across multiple customer levels and functions.

Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to successfully complete projects and initiatives in required time frames.

Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as well as being an effective team player.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Travel requirement: Approximately 10%
