As an Inside Sales Representative, you will have a vital role in our Greenwood, IN team, driving growth and success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive connections with new and existing clients to drive sales revenue for the Consumer Health and Nutrition (CHN) business unit.
- Generate new business opportunities through direct outreach, cold-calling, lead management, face-to-face customer visits, and trade show attendance.
- Effectively execute sales strategies to promote products, services, and new technologies, ensuring flawless implementation and outstanding customer happiness.
- Accurately forecast sales volumes on a monthly basis and develop selling strategies that exceed business plans as determined by management.
- Collaborate closely with Account Solutions Representatives and Business Development Managers to expand potential business accounts and ensure seamless account setup and related activities.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, manage multiple projects, and meet strict timelines.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work extended hours as necessary to meet business and customer demands, with onsite attendance being an essential function.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by bringing to bear strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a team-based environment.
Qualifications: Required
- BS/BBA or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of customer service or direct selling experience with a proven track record of prospecting and closing deals at various revenue levels.
- Demonstrated dedication to tasks, flexibility to adapt to changes, and a strong customer focus through sales or customer experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively collaborate with colleagues across all organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage and influence collaborators.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes (approximately 5-10%).
- Demonstrated success in applying a solution-selling approach and developing major account strategies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage relationships at all levels, including with executives such as Presidents, VPs, Directors, and CFOs.
- Motivated by an entrepreneurial attitude and a tenacious approach to achieving goals.

- Background in consumer health, dietary supplements, sports nutrition, ingredients, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Bilingual language proficiency may be required depending on territory assignment.
