The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing the sales pipeline and generating revenue by nurturing and converting inbound leads and proactively reaching out to potential clients through outbound calls and emails.
This position works collaboratively with Business Development, Marketing, and Proposals and is focused on building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing suitable solutions to meet those needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and grow the sales pipeline and supply revenue-generating opportunities to Business Development.
- Manage industry data (through Zapyrus) and work with Business Development to analyze client information and trends to identify sales reach-out opportunities.
- Follow-up on and qualify sales leads through various channels, including phone, email, and online.
- Research and explore the prospective customer’s needs and identify and advise of solutions (products, services) to best meet the customer’s needs and requirements.
- Nurture potential client opportunities through scheduled, relevant follow-up and communications, leveraging RQM+ marketing materials and collateral.
- Warm transfer clients, at Prospect stage, over to Business Development.
- Document outbound/inbound activity and maintain client accounts and contact information in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other sales databases.
- Work closely with business development, marketing, and proposals team to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the latest market trends and RQM+ products and service offerings.
- Share feedback with team members to enhance overall sales effectiveness.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or sales, preferably in the medical device, life science, healthcare, or related industry.
- Self-starter
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and an ability to understand client needs.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with data management and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidential information.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with co-workers, management, and external clients.
