The Role:
You will be a key member of the sales team with a focus on developing new business opportunities with new and existing financial advice and wealth management clients. Your primary focus will be growing the level of funds under management within our range of managed portfolios, multi asset funds and wealth platform.
The successful candidate will possess a willingness to proactively drive business development efforts across assigned accounts, in partnership with the Business Development Manager (BDM) for the region. The BDC will play a pivotal role in growing the Morningstar Wealth presence in the UK, delivering best in class relationship management, sales/cross-sales and service delivery.

  • Provide exceptional and knowledgeable level of product support direct to clients using Morningstar Investment Management & Platform.
  • Provide post-sales support to internal sales teams.
  • Support the BDM in analysing data trends to identify opportunities for Morningstar Wealth to grow Share of Wallet within assigned panel of clients.
  • Achieve high growth with existing client accounts by proactively contacting clients in order to build and maintain existing relationships, and the ability to use internal resources to achieve results.
  • Meet and exceed all targets including increasing AUM among existing client base, on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reporting and support resources using our in-house CRM system.
  • Manage the contracting of new and renewal business.


Qualifications:
Requirements

  • Previous experience working with financial advisers and financial planners.
  • Experience supporting and/or selling solutions for financial advisers and financial planners.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive in client communication, results oriented, persuasive, and tenacious.
  • Confident interpersonal skills - ability to forge strong and successful client relationships.
  • Ability to efficiently work with external and internal partners.
  • Superior time management, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Strong analytical skills able to quickly develop a thorough understanding of our products and internal sales support systems.
