The Role
Infrastructure Specialist are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.
At Kyndryl we support all major cloud platforms, so you’ll get the chance to use everything you know – and then some. You’ll also become expert at knowing when and how to call on other SMEs outside your wheelhouse. Thinking your way around pre-existing limitations will grow your creativity and flexibility. Invoice Processing Maintenance
- Perform invoice processing maintenance by reviewing and fixing issues. Provide suggestions for resolution to Kyndryl Invoice Approvers, Kyndryl Client Account Teams, Kyndryl Management and the Calero Support team.
- Work on unresolved invoice issues that prevent payments from being released to the vendors which results in new open A/R and late payment fees.
- Manage Access to Calero Tool
- For the TEM invoice processing (Non-PO) Calero tool provide administrate access & security groups for Kyndryl employees and validate financial allocations to ensure accurate Ledger entries.
- Client Account team members are always changing, and they need access to the Calero tool to manage their Network & Edge Transport spend. Allocation codes (CC/WBS) also can change and the Calero tool needs to be updated to ensure accurate billing passage to the ledger.
- Billing Audit Analyst
- Leverage 15+ years of expertise to advise Calero & Kyndryl Client Account Teams on complex or ambiguous invoice billing element issues or identify legacy equipment/services to be considered for replacement/removal to reduce Kyndryl’s spend. These reductions contribute significantly to Network & Edge CTO (Cost Take Out). Provide vendor portal provisioned invoice copies to Kyndryl Client Account teams where needed. Continuing to cleanup obscure Transport billing Kyndryl has inherited from IBM.
- Termination Submission
- Submit Transport circuit & service terminations on behalf of Kyndryl Client Account Teams. Expertise is needed to perform this task due to the complexity of billing elements and varied vendor specific termination procedures.

Who You Are
Required Technical and Professional Experience
15+ Years of technical knowledge in telecommunications.
15+ Years of invoicing procedures knowledge in telecommunications for most vendors/suppliers.
Established access to 20+ Transport Vendor billing portals.
Established relationships with telecom vendor/supplier billing representatives.
Established relationships with Kyndryl Client Account teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• MS Project or other Project Management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $93,360 to $177,360 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California:$102,720 to $213,000
Colorado: $93,360 to $177,360
New York City: $112,080 to $213,000
Washington: $102,720 to $195,120
Washington DC:$102,720 to $195,120
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
