The role
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis and decision-making documents of transactions
- Develop financial models to value target companies
- Effectively synthesize information to present complex business plan outcomes
- Conduct research on sectors identified through origination activities to target specific industries and potential investments
- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and initiatives to support investment decision-making
- Support in monitoring and tracking existing portfolio companies
Profile
- Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's program or pursuing an advanced Master's degree, with exceptional academic achievements from a top-tier business school or university
- Relevant prior internships in related fields (e.g. Private Equity, M&A, Consulting) or industrial infrastructure background
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
- Thorough commercial understanding of Private Equity and corporate finance as well as infrastructure sector excitement strongly preferred
- Curiosity to engage in complex problem solving within a dynamic team setting
- Proactive style and strong communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Professional fluency in English, additional European language skill incl. German is preferred

About the Team
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of Ardian’s infrastructure investment activities in Germany, BENELUX, and the Nordics. As an intern, you will become an integral part of our team, working closely with our investment professionals and gaining valuable insights into the dynamic field of infrastructure investing.

Since 2005, Ardian Infrastructure made in excess of 55+ investments across Europe, North America, and South America. Our portfolio includes assets under three main verticals, namely Energy, Digital and Transport infrastructure, becoming the second-largest owner of toll roads globally, an airport operator serving over 74m passengers annually, and an energy producer with more than 8.2 GW of generation assets. We currently manage approximately $35bn in infrastructure assets and invest from our Infrastructure Fund VI. The goal is to partner with market-leading companies in their growth strategies, with an increasing focus on the energy transition, including notable partnerships with Attero, EWE, and London Heathrow Airport.
