As the Infrastructure Lead, you will be providing leadership and strategic vision to a team of System Administrators and Network Engineers. The infrastructure Team maintains the backend infrastructure needed to develop and field advanced intelligence capabilities for their mission stakeholders.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical implementation of the environments critical to program success. This team provides Configuration Management, Virtualization Solutions, Infrastructure as Code Solutions, Asset Management and Equipment Procurement.
You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of 4; focused on creating and maintaining the environments required for program success.
• Procure, Build and Maintain Configuration Management for On-Prem and Virtualized Hardware at various company and government facilities.
• Prioritize and facilitate tasking to meet the requirements of the program.
• Automate development and operations processes to ensure reliability and repeatability.
• Provide and maintain standard operating systems environments.
• Manage scheduling and deliveries of capabilities as required by the program.
• Procure, install, and manage software licenses.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional, highly collaborative environments.
• Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement of systems, software, and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineers through all stages of career development.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment within a distributed team.
• Experience with Virtualized and Linux-based Infrastructure.
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience managing unclassified and classified development environments including workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
• Understanding of network configuration in virtualized and on-prem environments.
• 10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
• Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (like Security+).
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
• Experience in systems administration and systems engineering.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies/Terminology and associated development principles.
• Experience with Redhat Linux, VMWare, CI/CD Pipelines, Git/Gitlab and Jenkins.
• Experience procuring equipment for government contracts.
• Experience managing hybrid on-prem / virtualized operating environments.
• Experience with Docker, Podman or similar container technology.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
