Chemours is seeking a Sales Account Manager (India) to join our growing Titanium Technologies Asia Pacific commercial team. This position will be available at the Gurgaon office and report directly to the India Business Director. Although the Gurgaon office is preferred, we will consider candidates in the Mumbai office location.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage sizable key accounts (global or regional), develop annual key account plan with account strategies and objectives, mobilize resources across different functions and local country account managers to execute the plan and achieve the goal.
- Undertake commercial activities to achieve annual growth goals in India market including negotiating with key accounts on new contracts or change of existing contracts and hunting for new customers.
- Develop and manage sales contracts and distributor agreements in a disciplined and compliant manner.
- Collect and analyze market and competitive intelligence and quickly share with the team via call reports.
- Responsible for monthly bottom-up demand forecast per S&OP process.
- Ensure local regulatory and stewardship compliance to maintain the right to operate business.
- Effectively use of all sales tools such as SFDC, Sirion contract database, OMP demand forecast planning, etc.
- Look for opportunities to mix/ enrich portfolio and improve profitability.
- Drive timely collection of accounts receivables to meet business’ cash goals.
The following is required for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or advanced business degree (MBA).
- 12-14 years business /commercial experience in MNC Company or a large Indian Company with a B2B focus.
- Previous experience managing large B2B accounts and executive relationships.
- Ability to execute and manage ambiguity in a dynamic business environment – independent worker, self-motivated.
- Good command of oral and written English.
The following is preferred for this role:
- Experience with TiO2 or coatings / plastics industries is a plus.
