THE ROLE

Our mission is to uphold the trust of our fans, artists, employees, and partners by maintaining a robust security posture. As an Information Security and Privacy Intern, you will assist with critical tasks across incident response, cyber risk management, and security operations. You will collaborate with various teams within the Information Security and Privacy department, gaining exposure to a wide range of cybersecurity practices. This is an in-person internship based in Beverly Hills, CA, for the summer 2025 session.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Incident Response: Develop hands-on experience in detecting, documenting, and addressing cybersecurity incidents.
  • Cyber Risk Management: Collaborate with the risk management team to analyze and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Security Operations: Gain insight into security monitoring tools and practices used to protect organizational assets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams across the Information Security and Privacy department to enhance security processes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Learn best practices for recording and reporting security incidents and risk assessments.
  • Response Strategies: Explore containment and remediation approaches to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • Communication Skills: Understand the importance of clear communication during incident response and risk management activities.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Must be 18 years or older with junior standing or above from a university
  • Basic knowledge of information security principles and requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically in dynamic situations.
  • Availability to work onsite at least three days per week in Beverly Hills, CA

The expected compensation for this position is:

$24.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
