We are seeking an experienced Improvement Project Manager specializing within data management to join our R&D Systems & Process Excellence team.
The team you will be part of
The Systems & Process Excellence team is a part of GN R&D and is committed to facilitate and advance R&D’s high-level processes and systems improvement activities. These activities cover continuous development of our agile R&D development process, promoting GN’s enterprise product cyber security initiatives, hosting GN’s ISO 9001 certification, as well as participating in selection, configuration and implementation of PLM systems and Repairability efforts.
To prepare for the future we will need to invest further into utilizing and protecting our data in innovative and efficient ways to support Eco System Partnerships, Automation and AI initiatives.
Your contribution is appreciated as you will have an important role in identifying and delivering future R&D improvement and process needs.
You will oversee or facilitate high-priority improvement projects and transformations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure best possible support of our business goals.
This includes:

In alignment with IT - create and implement strategies for data storage, archival, and retrieval - as preparation for AI integration and extended external supplier partnership

Setup and role out processes for acquisition, implementation, ownership, maintenance and support of R&D applications - and the data they contain – in collaboration with IT

Execute data and application integration and migration projects

Create and document data processes and data-related policies
-
Educate colleagues on data management best practices, and enforce legal and company standards

Take ownership of improvement projects or processes

Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to to generate insights through data analysis, prepare comprehensive reports and deliver innovative and efficient processes and solutions

Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and processes

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Within R&D, setup process to protect digital databases and archives from security breaches and data losses

Collaborate with vendors for data-related tools and services, ensuring compatibility with the organization’s systems
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

Have solid experience in a data management role, ideally from a project management position or similar role.
-
Have advanced communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, regions, cultures and stakeholders.

Have experience with handling stakeholders within R&D, IT, Product Management and Operations.

Excel as a facilitator by intuitively grasping and streamlining complex processes.

Are analytic and find importance in following rules and regulations.

Are equipped with problem-solving competencies in swiftly changing agile environments and able to navigate improvement projects with ease.

Are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
This role will require some travel, approximately 5-10 days per year. More travel days are an option, but not a requirement.
