We are seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our Customer Success team. This role will be crucial in ensuring an efficient and positive customer onboarding experience. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and managing the end-to-end technical onboarding process. By working closely with customer success, product management, and engineering teams, you will ensure timely and successful customer launches. The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency, project management skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation Planning: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive implementation plans tailored to customer needs and product capabilities.
- Expert Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert on the product and implementation process, providing best practice recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Requirements Gathering: Gather, review, and document customer requirements, ensuring contractual obligations are well-defined and approved.
- Technical Tasks Management: Manage technical implementation tasks such as enrollment file configuration, Single Sign-On (SSO) setup, and medical plan/network information input.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth implementation processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine the implementation process to optimize timelines, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Provide clear, consistent project status updates to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan Renewals: Lead the plan year renewal process, with a high-volume workload expected during peak periods.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system settings and network configurations.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project management, solutions consulting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of direct experience in a customer-facing role, managing customer implementation and onboarding.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage customer tasks and ensure all necessary materials are gathered on time to support successful onboarding.
- Proficient in using software tools for project management and productivity (Google Suite, Hubspot, Notion or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare or benefits technology space.
- Familiarity with health insurance, benefits administration, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a SaaS (Software as a Service) organization.
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the following states: CA, CO, DE, FL, IL, NV, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, UT
