Your Team's Impact
In this Institutional Buyside Professional Services team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solutions for Performance Measurement and Attribution. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet’s software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in FactSet software, implementation specialists help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of FactSet applications.
What You'll Do
- Work on Implementation projects by executing tasks within defined objectives and deadlines. This means delivering results according to the project's scope and completing it within the specified timeframe.
- Lead client communication and provide thorough product guidance and management of implementation projects.
- Strong aptitude for understanding and gathering requirements to address client-specific business needs efficiently.
- Execution of activities including implementations, consultancy and solution optimizations by obtaining an excellent grasp of the product functionalities and methodologies as well as industry-specific principles and best practices.
- Deliver user training and contribute to the development of training materials.
- Participate in the quality assurance/testing process of project deliverables.
- Analyze and solve complex business issues related to clients’ investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the asset management industry, current market trends and economic factors for maintaining a competitive edge over the execution and delivery of creative solutions & strategies.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Project Managers, Consulting, Sales, Product Development, Engineering and Quant Researchers).
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field of finance, technology or FinTech
- Previous experience in client-facing positions
- Strong Excel knowledge and financial formulas
- Good communication skills in client-facing situations
Desired Skills
- Financial background in asset management
- Experience with performance measurement and/or attribution
- CFA, FRM credentials or active participation in related programs
- SQL and database experience
- Enthusiastic with a keen sense of initiative and a desire to take ownership
