What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Identity Operations and Service Excellence team. The team is accountable for maintaining and supporting CIBC's Enterprise Identity Infrastructure. Services that the team is accountable for include Active Directory, Entra ID, Radiant Logic Virtual Directory Services, AirWatch Directory Services, Quest Active Roles Server, VMWare Identity Manager, SSO services, Azure MFA, Entra Connect, Conditional Access Policies, and File & Data Governance, to name a few. You’ll also collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience. You'll build and maintain a strong relationship with Information Security and other technology, architecture, and solutions teams across CIBC. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the non-production and production infrastructures and applications and day-to-day operational activities, manage escalations and modify established procedures / approaches to suit specific situations including 24 x 7 support and coordination of recovery efforts.
Please note that this role has a requirement for on-call support (on a rotation - once for week every 2 months) to ensure 24x7 support is maintained.

How You’ll Succeed
- Production Support - Investigate and define operational issues and prioritize based on severity, risk and/or strategic business needs. Manage issue logs and ad-hoc requests. Design and implement solutions to prevent recurrence with the end goal of ensuring clients satisfaction.
- Partnership - Work as a regular liaison with business partners, technology partners, senior management team, internal and external clients. Ensure internal clients are well-informed of the team mandate and nature, including relevant policies and standards changes. Promote and support the concepts, products and services of the Identity Services teams.
- Projects Delivery - Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy); develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team and others. Research, analyze and support the development and implementation of new and/or revised policies, procedures and standards. Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on issues and system outages. Provide consulting, solutioning and testing for select base and project intake work.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate 3+ year experience in: implementing and supporting Active Directory and Entra ID. You can also demonstrate knowledge and expertise with Active Directory related 3rd party tools for monitoring/logging/security, Entra connect, creating scripts and building automation using PowerShell. Experience in a variety of roles/teams including, but not limited to, Operations & Security; experience with single sign-on services, Radiant Logic Virtual Directory Services, Quest Active roles server, AirWatch Directory Services, VMWare Identity Manager, Certificate Management, LDAP, DNS, GPO management, MFA, conditional access policies.
