Background & Purpose of the Job:
This position is responsible for playing a leading role in developing technical and mechanical productivity improvements. It is primarily focused on the enhancement and/or troubleshooting of bottlenecks within the business operation and thus is given the latitude to tackle and resolve the business risks while invoking a team atmosphere of continuous improvement.
This position is also the company’s primary knowledge base for automation using computers or PLC’s. As such, the position will be involved with corporate engineering on projects throughout the company.

Defines standards with Centerline of equipment

Utilization of troubleshooting software and resolving relevant issues

Conduct process analysis and development/improvement for the manufacturing function

Conduct productivity analysis and development/improvement for the manufacturing function

Leader of Kaizen (project) initiatives and loss reduction

Other activities as assigned
Working Environment
Variable, consisting of both the office environment and the manufacturing floor. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery. The position may require an individual to stand, stoop, move equipment; bend, reach, or lift for prolonged periods of time. PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection and sanitary footwear.
What You’ll Need To Succeed

Minimum of a BS in a Engineering-related discipline

Ability to travel extensively, if required
Pay: The pay range for this position is s $67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
