Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional technical manager/leader for a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) as an Installation SATAF Site Security Manager (SSM); ICD-705 Lead Manager.
The Sentinel Program (formerly GBSD) is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. It includes a complete refurbishment or replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly-designed, technologically-advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system (including an updated airborne launch capability) as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. dollars of new construction and facility renovation projects. The position will be located at Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT. Your efforts will directly contribute to our national defense by fielding the next-gen ICBM platform.
Detailed Job Description:
This position will directly support the AFGSC A10 Directorate. Duties will include: directing and oversight of security operations to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), DoD Manuals 5205 series to include JSIG, DoD manuals, AFI's, along with all other applicable federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles. Support program/project managers, and weapon system subject matter experts as they provide professional advice and support to AFGSC, Sentinel SPO and ICBM Wing leaders on all ICBM deployment, security, civil engineering and command & control aspects throughout all the deployment phases. Areas of knowledge responsibility that fall under the Site Security Manager include:
* Provide and oversee construction requirements for new classified areas to include SCIFs, SAPFs, and Open Storage Areas.
* Understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface
* Physical security systems (e.g., motion sensors, visual sensors, delay features, etc.)
Candidates may be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for:
* Transition and Deployment Schedule Management
* Transition and Deployment Risk Management
* Mission Integration Management
* ICBM Enterprise Management
Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.
This position is only located at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. Due to the special-access classified working environment, the work is performed on-site with minimal telework.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Ability to understand, interpret, explain and apply regulations, directives, policies and procedures, manage time, make sound decisions, analyze problems and provide focused solutions while comfortably representing the security team during customer interface.
* Senior level of understanding ICD-705 construction/TEMPEST requirements
* Experience with large building/site development following strict Government requirements.
* Demonstrated success in leading large technical projects.
* Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
* Ability to identify, establish and cultivate important customer relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders internal and external to the USAF, including AFGSC, AFMC, AFNWC, 20 AF internally, and Army Corps of Engineers, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, and contractor personnel externally.
* Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* Physical Security SCIF Construction-ICD 705 certificate
* Familiarity with, or willingness to rapidly learn, complex schedule management principles is a plus.
* Air Force Security Manager Certificate
* PMP certification, and understanding of agile program management tools.
* 5+ years of experience with the USAF ICBM mission.
* 5+ years of experience with technical project managemen
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95252 - $161928
