BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional project manager/leader for a challenging and exciting opportunity to work in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Site Activation Task Force (SATAF) for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) as a Project Analyst.
The Sentinel Program (formerly GBSD) is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. It includes a complete refurbishment or replacement of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly-designed, technologically-advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command & control system (including an updated airborne launch capability) as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. dollars of new construction and facility renovation projects. Detailed Job Description:
This position will directly support the Installation SATAF Lead and AFGSC/A10 Directorate. Duties will include: serve as a lead project manager responsible for supporting the government customer in the creation, review, and assessment of all program schedule documentation, architecture needs, and future systems acquisition proposals in order to meet ICBM transition/acquisition/deployment requirements and timelines; collect, coordinate and integrate schedule actions/activities with other project managers, engineers, logisticians, testers, and external agencies;
Candidates may be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for:
* ICBM Transition and Deployment Schedule Management
* ICBM Transition and Deployment Risk Management
* Mission Integration Management
* ICBM Enterprise Management
* Draft, monitor and assist with production of short/long term schedules
* Assist, monitor and support operational deployment and execution tasks
* Report status, metrics, issues, and execution to Senior USAF Leaders
* Monitor maintenance performance data systems for compliance with established procedures
* Audit deficiencies in areas such as equipment performance, scheduling and resources
* Manage and operate maintenance information on management information systems (MIS)
Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.
This position is only located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. Due to the special-access classified working environment, the work is performed on-site with minimal telework.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in direct program/project management
- Experience in Primavera (P6) or other scheduling software platform
- Proficient with coordinating resources and job assignments within military organizations
- Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail skills
- Experience with balancing routine duties with urgent operational needs, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet shifting mission demands.
- Fully capable to generate reports on personnel utilization, overtime, and staffing gaps to inform decision-making
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with personnel at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Capable on providing immediate information at moment's notice in a variety of formats
- Demonstrated advanced writing and presentation skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degrees in relative areas.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to rapidly learn, complex schedule management principles is a plus.
- PMP certification, and understanding of agile program management tools.
- 10+ years of experience with DoD installation/mission modernization activities.
- 5+ years of experience with technical project management.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95252 - $161928

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
