The Opportunity
The IAM Assurance Testing Consultant will be responsible for performing regular access management governance assessments on the Oracle database platform to evaluate and to ensure compliance with MetLife Access Security Controls. This role will also interface with IAM leadership, internal and external audit, and business stakeholders.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • This role will require a deep understanding of Oracle security settings, working knowledge of current industry standard best practices, and previous Information Security compliance experience.
  • Have current working knowledge of Oracle security settings, working knowledge of current industry standard best practices, and previous Information Security compliance experience.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Platform Access Security in both conventional and container architecture. Previous Oracle DBA or Database Engineering experience is a plus.
  • Experience performing regular SOX/regulatory reviews of InfoSec controls by evaluating platform user, entitlement, and configuration data.
  • Audit and compliance review experience with testing practices, policy checks and best practices.
  • Excellent technical and business communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Able to analyze large volumes of Oracle platform data in conjunction with external data sources.
  • You will also be expected to work collaboratively and effectively withing a team to accomplish expected goals that align with the business strategy.
  • Work with management and technical teams to review findings, plan and validate remediation.
  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Must be detailed, action, solution and result oriented, and dedicated to continuous improvement.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field with 5+ years of Oracle system's experience OR high school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years' Oracle experience.
  • Understanding of Regulatory, NIST practices and Access management risks and controls.
  • 4+ years of IT work experience in information systems support, security administration, risk management, and/or audit principles.


What Can Give You an Edge (Prferred Skills)

  • Process automation and optimization experience.
  • Additional database platform experience with UDB, Sybase, AS400.
  • Tool experience: SailPoint, Privileged Access Management, Splunk, PowerShell, SQL Server, SQL scripting, MS Power.


The salary range for applicants for this position is $105,000 - $150,000.
