The Opportunity:

As a CACI-Mission & Engineering Services (M&ES) CIV/MIL Human Resources Specialist, you willprovide comprehensive human resources support to government civilian and military personnel assigned to a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Task Force (JTF). This role requires a deep understanding of both civilian and military personnel regulations and processes, as well as experience working within a joint service environment. The HR Specialist will facilitate and coordinate all personnel actions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies, and providing critical support to command leadership.
Responsibilities:

  • Civilian/Joint Service Military Human Resources Support: Facilitate and coordinate all actions supporting government civilian and military personnel requirements. This includes benefits guidance, leave policy administration, awards processing, electronic task management, HR record keeping, transition assistance, and compliance with government (DCIPS/DPMAP) civilian/joint military regulations. Provide general HR support, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Personnel Records Management: Review and process military and civilian personnel records and actions through various automated systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with regulations, personnel readiness, and assist in the review of unit status reports.
  • Personnel Management Guidance: Provide guidance on administrative aspects of military and civilian personnel management programs.
  • Administrative Support: Develop and prepare command administrative actions such as military correspondence, reports, military orders, awards, and personnel actions. Maintain HR records in accordance with knowledge management policies/directives/SOPs. Develop SOPs and policies as directed.
  • Leadership Briefings: Prepare briefings for command leadership concerning the status of military and civilian personnel actions, program requirements, and to support the decision-making process.
  • Program Improvement: Identify program deficiencies and make recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Must possessan active TS/SCIclearance.  
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in Human Resources supporting the military or a DOD agency.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in human resources management, public administration, or similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Joint Service HR Office at a JTF, Sub-unified, or CCMD level.
  • Proven experience using Electronic Workflow Management System (EWMS), Task Management Tool (TMT), and other HQ staffing tools.
  • Documented experience processing Joint Military Service and Civilian HR actions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of military and civilian personnel regulations and policies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desired:

  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or IPMA-CP
  • Experience providing Human Resources support to SOF, SMU, or otherunitsconducting special activities.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,900 - $148,900
