  • This role is accountable for ensuring allocated internal departments have the necessary HR support to drive the achievement of broader business and departmental goals.  Work will include supporting business partners and management teams with capability building, organisational design, change management, communications, HR framework execution, policy advice and adherence and ensuring departmental intelligence is captured and shared with the Human Resources Department’s Centres of Excellence to inform strategies and frameworks.

Job Description

  • Full spectrum of support in HR Operation as HRBP (mainly Retail focus)
  • Maintain HR data and craft reports to leadership teams to inform decision-making
  • Support departmental communications activity, in collaboration with the Internal Communications and Engagement Team
  • Responsible for end to end recruitment, onboarding and payroll process
  • Support headquarter on the execution of HR programmes, policies and initiatives as required
  • Lead defined projects as required
  • Support budget management processes, coordination and reporting
  • Support headcount management activity
  • Identify HR internal or external resources as required to address business challenges
  • Drive a high-performing and motivated workforce
  • Demonstrate key competencies and values
  • Implement Recruiting strategies to bring and hire the best candidates
  • Retail staff recruitment experience is highly preferred
  • Build and maintain a database of both office and retail talents
  • Coordinate with and manage outsourced payroll vendor to ensure timely and accurate payroll services and payroll calculation, payroll reports, government benefit contribution, individual tax filing, etc
  • Monitor and report vendor performance on regular basis.
  • Support HR in Headquarters in reviewing Labour cost/budget and stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Obtain comprehensive knowledge regarding different HR related regulations/restrictions in Taiwan and anticipate/prevent HR related issues
  • Come up with suitable action plan, when there is any HR related issues
  • Hands-on administrative tasks as assigned

Requirement

  • 7+ years of human resources relevant experience
  • Proven work experience as HR Generalist
  • Hands-on experience with employment cycle
  • Familiar with full cycle recruiting, experience in Direct Sourcing
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the company
  • A data-driven approach with proven experience applying metrics to implement change in the business
  • Excellent in data-analysis, MS/Google
  • An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs
  • A highly responsive and service-oriented approach with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • An ability to connect well with employees, with a high degree of empathy while being able to maintain a strong business orientation
  • Good knowledge of local employment laws to ensure compliance in Taiwan and the ability to apply those laws to our current and future employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and Mandarin)
