Serigraph is looking for a Human Recourses Generalist to champion onboarding and employee well-being. The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and supportive workplace by leading impactful HR programs. From delivering a standout onboarding experience to managing benefits and wellness initiatives, this role champions employee onboarding and well-being. The HR Generalist oversees the Service Awards program, supports offboarding processes, and assists employees with professionalism and care, helping shape a thriving, values-driven culture.
Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities -
- Deliver a comprehensive and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, fostering early engagement and retention. This includes the administration of new hire paperwork and ensuring training requirements are met and recorded.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, and address employee questions regarding benefits with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Lead wellness initiatives aimed at improving population health and promoting employee well-being.
- Oversee and refresh the Service Awards program, ensuring it reflects the company values and employee achievements.
- Act as the primary HR contact for maintaining training records, ensuring compliance with standards required during customer audits.
- Assist employees with HR-related queries, providing professional and timely support to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating HR processes and recommending enhancements.
What we are looking for in a Human Resources Generalist -
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently and quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of employment law, both federal and state, and HR best practices.
- Experience administering employee benefits programs, including open enrollment.
- Knowledge of wellness initiatives and strategies to promote population health.
- Professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, organization, and accuracy.
- Teamwork and ability to work collaboratively across divisions and departments.
- Experience in HRIS and Applicant Tracking systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
- Understand departmental procedures and policies.
Preferred Qualifications of a Human Resources Generalist -
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred or equivalent experience.
- Above average Excel skills.
- Experience in a human resource-related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in UKG is ideal but not required.
- Valid drivers license for travel to other facilities or to HR events.
