    The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment of, management of, and providing direction to the people who work in the organization through effective policies, procedures, guidelines, and support. Human Resources Management is the organizational function overseeing compensation, hiring, performance management, organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training.
    The Position
    The position is responsible for supporting the human resources department in administering policies and programs in several of the following areas: LOA administration, facilitate and support the payroll process, employment, compliance, basic employee relations, wage and salary administration, training, and various HR-related programs.
    Relationships
    Reports to: Human Resources Manager
    Essential Functions

    • Assist with employee onboarding activities
    • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to maintain up to date information regarding new employee start dates and orientation groups
    • Ensure all applicable accesses are available for new hires prior to start date
    • Perform data entry and generate data reports from HRIS, including processing of employee-related actions. Ensure accuracy and audit employee data in HRIS to maintain data integrity
    • Serve as site super-user (SME) for all systems utilized within department
    • Assist HR Site Lead and Generalists in data collection/analysis for various projects
    • Process new hire paperwork and terminations
    • Maintain file compliance for payroll records
    • Assist and participate in the delivery of employee training programs
    • Maintain files and coordinate employee updates to ensure fair and consistent application of policy and legal compliance
    • Other duties as assigned


    Physical Requirements
    Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Comply with EHS expectations of the company. Working conditions will be Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioned controlled.
    Qualifications

    • Education/Experience:
      • High School/GED, required
      • Technical Certificate or higher, preferred
      • Minimum of 5 years of experince, required
      • GMP experience, preferred
      • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
    • Technical Requirements:
      • Strong project management skills
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Microsoft Office
      • Strong customer service
      • Ability to respond to HR-related questions from managers and employees
      • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak clear English
    • Behavioral Requirements:
      • Ability to see and hear, read and write clear English
      • Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control, writing
      • Ability to communicate effectively and follow/retain detailed written and verbal instruction in an accurate, timely, safe, and professional manner with supervisor, group members, and other departments as necessary, in a professional and accurate manner
      • Ability to manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame and independently seek out additional work when tasks are completed ahead of time
      • Detail oriented and well organized with ability to work effectively under high pressure with multiple deadlines
      • Ability to put aside personal opinions and focus on business needs, department needs or group needs
