In this role
You will work within the HR Total Rewards team, supporting compensation and benefits-related analysis, reporting, and process improvements. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of specific projects from start to finish, such as:
- Assisting with the review and update of salary ranges for some EMEA countries.
- Supporting data collection and analysis for participation in compensation and benefits benchmark surveys.
- Helping improve employee experience through our Ask HR portal and contributing to content creation.
- Collaborating with other departments such as People Operations and Payroll to gather insights and align processes.
- Identifying improvement opportunities in compensation processes, documentation, and tools.
- Supporting ongoing benefits projects as needed, with a focus on enhancing employee understanding and experience.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- You are a student with an analytical mindset (Business Administration preferred, but other fields are also welcome) and are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Strong skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Curious and motivated to suggest improvements to internal processes.
- A team player with a professional attitude and willingness to learn.
Some practical aspects
- You are available to start around the beginning of September and can commit to a full-time internship (40 hours/week) for 5–6 months.
- The internship can be extended if both the intern and IDEXX agree to continue and the intern is still a student at the university.
- You must be enrolled as a student and able to secure university approval for the internship. If you are not an EU national, you will need an approved Nuffic agreement.
