This Position is a fixed term for 24 months (Parental leave cover)
The People Partner is a BU agnostic role, part of a small agile cohort of HR partners, providing comprehensive support to all customers in DACH. Reporting to the Director People Europe, you will be responsible for the delivery of people programs and activities that support the business strategy across Convatec.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support and manage activities related to the implementation of Global HR initiatives.
- Drive Transformation processes to implement new ways of working together with our Shared Service Centers and CoEs.
- Effectively deliver and manage HR processes related to Talent Management, Performance Management and Leadership Development for the region.
- Develop trusted relationships with Senior Management, line management and functional team members to proactively support business needs and drive the people agenda for the business.
- Work closely with Legal on employee relations issues and ensure compliance to local labour regulations.
- Facilitate annual calibration processes (performance, potential, merit), coaching line managers as required
- Own local employment policies in collaboration with the Shared Services team
- Act as HR lead for Works Councils/consultative bodies
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on HR or equivalent qualification
- 10+ years of progressive HR generalist experience in environments that value excellence and drive high standards
- Depth of understanding of business dynamics and ability to influence and challenge at senior levels
- Proven experience in sucessfull Implementation of Transformation processes
- A solid working knowledge of employment legislation/labour law in DACH, especially Germany
- Works council experience within Germany
- Ability to manage multiple projects, often with conflicting demands/timelines
- Execution oriented with strong project management, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- Critical thinking skills balanced with strong emotional intelligence
- Demonstrate confidence and courage to appropriately challenge assumptions, and ability to successfully manage competing priorities
- Strong learning orientation and work ethic – curious and continuous learner with a good say/do ratio and high integrity Competencies.
- Fluent in german and english
- You live in Munich or greater Munich area
