Brown & Brown’s Risk Solutions team is looking for a Payroll Administrator in Atlanta, GA.

The Payroll Administrator will perform administrative tasks and services to support the Human Resources operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately and effectively working with corporate to process payroll by managing electronic timekeeping system, processing bonuses, commissions, counseling team members on payroll guidelines, etc.
  • Ensure HRIS system is updated with changes including, but not limited to reporting lines, job codes, FLSA status, salary changes, etc.
  • Resolving issues relative to timesheets, paychecks, and/or other payroll matters.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employment files, records, and documentation.
  • Participating in periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure adherence to company, state, and/or federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Workday (HRIS) experience highly preferred
  • Prior experience processing payroll highly preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
