👨‍💻 About the Role 


We’re looking for a driven, collaborative and resourceful HR & Office Manager to support our growing team in Lahore. You’ll play a vital role in recruitment, office management, and team culture, ensuring we attract, onboard, develop and retain top talent. This is a unique opportunity to shape our Pakistani team’s growth trajectory while collaborating with colleagues across the UK, China, and the Philippines.

Attention to detail should be second nature, and it shouldn’t take you long to get to grips with our People platforms (we use Lever & CharlieHR). Things can change quickly at Mous, so we need you to be open to embracing the fast-paced environment of an early-stage, agile business. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and it is crucial that you’re able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process for Pakistan and where required, China.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to craft job specs and source candidates.
  • Oversee applications, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for all new hires.

HR Management

  • Serve as the main People team contact in Lahore, advising on local best practices.
  • Liaise with our EOR provider for payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee timely payroll administration.

Office Management

  • Manage office facilities, ensuring a comfortable and productive work environment, with the potential coordination of an office move in the coming months.
  • Organise team events and foster a strong, inclusive culture.
  • Ensure equipment and resources enable the team to excel in their roles.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in HR or office management.
  • Solid understanding of Pakistani employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to multitask effectively and be comfortable being the sole member of the People team in Pakistan.
  • A passion for recruitment, culture-building, and fostering team success.

  • Good. You will nail the basics: HR paperwork is compliant; people are generally happy - paid correctly & on time; recruitment, onboarding and offboarding are smooth; the PK office is fit-for-purpose.
  • Great. You will be a trusted strategic partner to the business: identifying ways to continuously elevate how we work within the People team to elevate and enable our colleagues and peers to achieve Mous’ bold goals for 2025 and beyond.
