Your Team:

The People Team is a dedicated group who you will work alongside to help foster an excellent employee experience for our APAC employees and support the team at Seesaw. 

Your Role:

Seesaw is expanding into the APAC region and we are looking for a hybrid Human Resources and Office Manager to help set up and manage the day to day of our APAC office. In this role, you will work closely with all members of the People team and future APAC employees to support everything related to the office space, employee experience, recruiting in the region, and company culture initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first employee in the area to help develop our APAC offices from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be experienced in this area and excited to drive this new initiative for us while embodying Seesaw’s values and company culture.  

Your Responsibilities:

  • Within the first 90 days find, secure and setup a Seesaw office in region
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office while creating a welcoming environment that supports collaboration and camaraderie
  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts in region including sourcing, scheduling, leading candidates and hiring managers through the interview process, and providing an excellent candidate experience
  • Own the onboarding of new employees in region including leading new employee orientation, upkeep of training materials, and working with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions 
  • Help manage HR compliance in region including offer letters, handbooks, payroll support, and other compliance related objectives
  • Support People program initiatives in the region like performance management, engagement surveys, trainings, etc as well as helping with and owning various ad-hoc projects
  • Maintain and promote our creative and passionate culture 

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • 5+ years of experience in an Office Management, HR, Recruiting or Administrative role 
  • Strong experience with local and region specific employment law, compliance, and cultural practices
  • You are a strong communicator (both in English and the local dialect), are extremely detail-oriented, and resourceful
  • You are innovative, proactive, and come up with multiple solutions when faced with a challenge 
  • You are flexible and can adapt quickly to any situation and are comfortable escalating issues
  • You are organized and keep track of multiple projects at once and can own them from end to end
  • You have a passion for people and a "forever learning" mindset
  • You are approachable to employees and can build trusted relationships across varying levels 
  • A proactive attitude toward resolving issues and improving people processes
  • You promote and embody Seesaw’s core values and foster a positive work culture and office environment
  • Experience utilizing HR systems and tools as well as software like Slack, Microsoft, Google Suite, etc.
