Job Purpose

The HR Intern will gain exposure in many different tasks and projects within the HR department, including updating employee records, assist with employee development, and help by updating HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating our internal databases with employee information (HRIS updates)

  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed 

  • Assist in revising job descriptions and updating templates

  • Assist with organizing digital files

  • Help better define internal processes & SOP's

  • Assist with revising HR onboarding process for improvements in new hire experience

  • Organize and lead intern activities throughout the summer, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all interns

  • Other ad-hoc projects as needed from HR department

Education:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business; Human Resources, or a related field, with anticipated graduation within the next 12–24 months

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to professional quality

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to work well with different people across departments, understanding that HR interacts with everyone

  • Confidentiality; understanding the importance of discretion when dealing with sensitive data

Language Skills

  • English as a daily working language
