Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and employee relations. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for supporting our employees and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and policies.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and address inquiries related to workplace policies.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
- Help facilitate performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers and employees.
- Support the development and tracking of employee development plans.
Policy Implementation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in the development of employee training programs.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
- Provide information to employees about benefits programs and assist with enrollment.
HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain HR metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism in a diverse environment.
