Position Scope

The HR Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Manager at the local site. Their main focus will be recruiting, conducting new hire orientation and completing administrative and clerical tasks for the site’s HR department. Additional responsibilities will include supporting employee engagement activities at the site, and ensuring compliance with all State and Federal employment laws and regulations. An integral member of the East Coast HR team, the HR Coordinator will help optimize initiatives at the North Jackson site and support consistency across the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process internal and external requisitions through the applicant tracking system (Workday), post and advertise jobs using traditional and non-traditional resources, review and update job descriptions, screen online applications, schedule and conduct interviews and coordinate interviews with the hiring manager.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process, complete paperwork, and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and maintain the accuracy of employee information in the HRIS.
  • Prepare all paperwork and required notifications associated with employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with site employee engagement events, communications, employee meetings, and community related initiatives.
  • Support and promote health & wellness initiatives and events. Assist with benefits open enrollment.
  • Address questions, inquiries, and provide HR services to employees and managers.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and practices are communicated and consistently applied.
  • Work to develop internal and external relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust, and integrity.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

  • General knowledge of HR, Payroll, State/Federal regulations, and employment law practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Payroll systems, and HRIS.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism at all times, calm, flexible, resilient, and solution oriented.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Education and Experience:

Education: Associate’s Degree preferred, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably within an HR department in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
