Job Summary
The HRBP leads and delivers the entire employee life-cycle by advising and guiding managers and employees of all Lines of Business (LOBs) and Functions in SAMINA region (South East Asia, Middle East, India, Korea-North Asia) to execute our talent strategy, deliver quality HR solutions and services in compliance with local labor laws across the region.
The LOBs include the client-facing commercial organization from the Companion Animal Group (CAG), Water, Livestock and Poultry (WLPD), Laboratories, and all Functions (e.g. Finance, Global Operations, Customer Service etc.).
The role involves regular interaction with country managers, people managers both within and outside the SAMINA region, leaders from various LOBs and functions both regionally and globally, global HRBPs, global HR CoE’s (Centers of Expertise including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefit, Payroll and People Operations, Global Mobility, etc.) and other relevant stakeholders such as Legal and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as credible business partner to leadership team in talent review, organizational design and performance improvement and coaching.
- Works with various CoEs to support the entire employee life cycle: talent pipelining and acquisition, onboarding and integration, employee engagement and experience, talent and leadership development, competitive compensation program design and succession management:
- Talent acquisition team to ensure an efficient sourcing and onboarding program aligned to business needs and organizational growth.
- Collaborates with Total Rewards CoE team to develop, implement and maintain compensation and benefits programs/structures that are internally equitable and externally competitive to attract, motivate and retain talents.
- Partners the talent development team and people managers in SAMINA to identify, recommend, implement/facilitate appropriate people development activities to facilitate individual, team and organizational needs.
- Ensure human resources policies, procedures and practices fully comply with SAMINA labor legislations and provisions through partnership with Payroll and People Operations and relevant CoEs.
- Initiate and organize activities to promote employee wellbeing with local country coordinators and administrative personnel.
- Review processes for continuous improvement including automation, streamlining of processes to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead in regional, global HR programs and initiatives identified from time to time.
The HRBP SAMINA is based in Korea and reports to the Head of HR Asia.

- Excellent business acumen, is a quick learner of business models, product and portfolio offerings, which are essential for credible partnership with stakeholders.
- Project management experience in people and HR processes such as compensation design, organization design, HR program and projects aimed at improving employee life-cycle events and experience etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and functional understanding of HR information Systems (Workday and ADP) preferred.
- Emotional maturity, emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
- Comfortable and effective with changing evolving and changing priorities and challenges, sees change as opportunity for learning and improvement.
- Exhibit the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of hands-on HR generalist experience in a dynamic global MNC environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Law preferred.
- Native Korean language proficiency is a must, excellent command of English language both verbal and written is a must.
- Prior specialization in a HR discipline (compensation and benefits, talent development, talent acquisition) highly advantageous.
- Good experience with employee relations, labor relations, stays updated on labor regulations.
