Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling (BU HFH) provides high-quality process equipment and services for industries with strict hygiene requirements, like food, dairy, and pharmaceuticals. The solutions help ensure safe, efficient, and contamination-free fluid handling while supporting regulatory compliance and sustainability. The organization comprises the Supply Chain, R&D, Product Management and Sales Management - with main footprints in China, India, US and Denmark, with a total workforce of 1150 employees.

About The Job

BU HFH is currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join us on our ambitious journey. In close collaboration with the BU management teams and the organization, you will be instrumental in driving organizational leadership, fostering a positive culture, where learning & transformation are key elements. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our success and enhancing customer experience.  

In this role you will assume ownership of strategic initiatives for the BU. Your approach should be self-driven, forward-thinking, embodying both strategic and tactical responsibilities. You will be a crucial team player that will enable us to reach our ambitious goals. Your main responsibilities include: 

  • Be part of the BU’s management team, contributing towards the strategic and commercial objective

  • Plan and drive the people & culture plan aligned with the business strategy as well as the Global People strategy and Food & Water People direction.

  • Guide and align the people and culture plans with local HR Business Partners.

  • Functionally lead and develop the local HR BPs in different parts of the organization.

  • Ensure implementation of relevant Alfa Laval HR processes, tools, and analytics

  • Coach, guide and support Managers in the day-to-day opportunities and challenges drive initiatives in partnership with business leaders to improve performance, develop and retain talent in the organization along with succession planning

  • Collaborate with HR colleges in HR Service centres and Centres of Excellence globally.

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is based at our Kolding office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 20 - 30 days per year.

What you know 

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resource management, organizational development or equivalent. You are an experienced HR leader with a strategic mindset and are interested in strongly contributing to business success through people, culture, and organization. You have multiple years of experience as a business-minded HR Business Partner or Generalist and/or experience in driving change and transformation, developing and implementing successful strategies aligned with business objectives. Besides that, you have:

  • Experienced in managing stakeholders at all levels of a fast-paced, global matrixed organization.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • A pro-active, self-driven, creative attitude with a clear sense of accountability.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Danish will be an advantaged.

  • Demonstrated a strong growth mindset and an inclusive approach.

  • A target-oriented mindset while being a solution-oriented team player.
